J. David Capital is a professional services firm that fosters partnerships with its clients based on shared visions of success. Founded upon the core values of Integrity, Problem Solving, and Teamwork, we utilize our range of life experiences and business knowledge to best serve our clients.
Services
Our services focus on management consulting, business plan writing and financial modeling, analytics, and philanthropic & social impact consulting. Evaluation is at the heart of our work. We work closely with you to assess the quality, effectiveness and importance of your work and assist in future planning.
Management Consulting
We work with organizations to improve their performance through the use of OKRs (objectives and key results). Our management consulting services align all activities and processes of the company to the objectives of the company so that a focus on the most critical issues and opportunities is maintained at all times.
Business Plan Writing & Financial Modeling
We work with entrepreneurs to document how their companies will create and deliver value to its customers. We accomplish this by mapping the interactions between the company’s customer segments, customer relationships, value propositions, distributions channels, key activities, key resources, and key partners. Based on these mappings, we create financial forecasts that allow a company to identify and measure which activities contribute to positive return on invested capital and economic profit.
Descriptive, Predictive, & Prescriptive Analytics
We work with companies to take their proprietary data and transform it into actionable knowledge. We do this by first building a framework to see what has happened in the past. Based on this framework, we use algorithms and predictive modeling to predict what will happen in the future. Finally, based on our forecasts, we advise our clients on what actions to take.
Philanthropic & Social Impact Consulting
We help philanthropists, foundations and nonprofits make well-informed decisions that enhance their impact. Our expertise includes evaluation research, strategy development, and the launch of new philanthropic initiatives.
We help bring nascent ideas to fruition by gathering the information you need to develop a deep understanding of the policy issues or causes in which you are considering an investment. We track trends and we offer both informational and critical analysis to help you understand a possible area in which to invest. If you are building a new organization, we work with you to develop a theory of change that serves as a guide to develop your venture and help to determine its success.
